Undead
A being merged with their own shadow and thereby invisible to death. They are forced to consume souls to stave off the decay of their mind and body.
- Vampire - An undead who has made a covenant with the bloodmoon for higher powers, including the power to create bloodstone, a powerful conductor of spiritual energy. It is created in the gut of a vampire with the blood and souls of a victim. The byproduct of its usage is a powerful poison that forces the vampire to use more bloodstone to heal themselves.
- Witch - An undead who has made a covenant with the new moon for the power to cast dark magic at the cost of souls.
- Ghoul - A basic undead
- Hollow - An undead that whose sanity has decayed beyond repair. Once fully hollow, a being separates into two parts.
- Melani - The black, heartless soul of a Hollow. Sometimes incorrectly refered to as a wraith.
- Kalyfos - The empty, emotionless shell of a Hollow. What is usually meant when refering to an undead as "Hollow".
Ghost
The soul of a dead mortal that has not yet passed on, consumed by an insatiable appetite for other souls. If the ghost gives in to this drive, they become a wraith.
